Giving waste plastic a new life

We have worked with a leading fabric manufacturer to develop Enviroflag, an environmentally friendly alternative to knitted polyester for our flags and feather flags.

We are committed to reducing our impact on the environment and want to help like-minded customers do the same. We are continually expanding our product range and have recently developed our very own environmentally-friendly material, Enviroflag. Our revolutionary material is made from recycled plastic items, such as single-use PET plastic bottles and industrial polyester waste, which has been fragmented down in to tiny chips that are melted in to liquid plastic and spun into yarn that is then knitted to form the material.

Enviroflag has the same durability, strength and versatility of it’s knitted polyester equivalent but with a much lower environmental impact. Unlike the production of standard knitted polyester – the most popular choice for printed flags, Enviroflag does not require new petroleum for its creation, therefore lowering the demand for petroleum extraction and ultimately reducing its overall carbon footprint. Producing the Enviroflag material is also better for the climate, creating 75% less emissions than the production of virgin polyester. It also meets the requirements for the OEKO-TEX 100 standards and is free from toxic elements. All of our Enviroflag products can also be upcycled at the end of their life through our Fabric Upcycling Scheme.

Enviroflag is the environmentally friendly choice for all flags and feather flags as well as a wide variety of our other products.
